A bit about me…

I got into clay the way most people do — by accident, and then completely. There is something about the material that refuses to let you be somewhere else while you're working with it. That presence is what keeps me coming back. Photography found me the same way: a different medium, the same insistence on being fully there. I studied Philosophy and Studio Art at the University of Vermont, which is a combination that sounds contradictory until you spend enough time with both. I make pots, I shoot on digital and film, I run a vintage clothing brand called Earth Maggie Co, and I am endlessly curious about what it means to make something with your hands in a world that has largely stopped bothering.

After spending my first year post-grad working as a ceramics and wood shop studio assistant at my former university, I am moving home to Minneapolis, MN. As I put down roots, I am looking to build community and collaborate with other artists and creatives of all backgrounds.
